Welcome to Threnic, a service provided by NXN Technologies LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website and any related services.

A. Personal Information You Disclose

Threnic has no user accounts, sign-in, or payments. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, password, or payment details.

B. Information Automatically Collected

When you navigate the Services, we may automatically collect certain computing information, such as IP addresses, browser characteristics, and information about how you use our Services (e.g., rendering performance).

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to understand how the Service is used. Umami does not use third-party trackers, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We record aggregated interaction events — such as audio playback, applying presets, and starting or completing exports — to improve the product. This data is not sold or shared for advertising.

C. Audio and Visual Data Handling

Threnic processes audio files and generates video renderings entirely locally within your browser. Your audio, lyrics, and images are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party — they never leave your device.

03. Cookies & Local Storage

Threnic does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Umami) is cookieless. We use your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB to store your UI preferences, legal-acceptance status, and project data directly on your device; these remain on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings, and you can manage consent through the banner shown on first visit.

04. Data Usage & Sharing

We use the limited technical and analytics information described above to operate the Service and improve our rendering technology. We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with the service providers (sub-processors) required to operate Threnic:

• >Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery and object storage
• >Umami Software — privacy-focused, cookieless product analytics

Threnic does not send your audio, lyrics, or images to any third-party AI service. All media processing runs locally on your device.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your data. However, please remember that no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
